Marsh Baldon School Update

The week beginning 24 April was a busy time for the school.  On the Monday, inspectors from the Education Department of the Oxford Diocese visited the school.  The inspection focuses on the impact of the Church School’s Christian Vision on pupils and adults.  The school has just been given an overall rating of ‘Good’.  Any inspection is a demanding and, somewhat, stressful exercise and the school should be congratulated on the excellent report, which can be found on the School’s website.  On the Friday, Governors appointed Mrs Carolyn Hanwell, Deputy Head at Stephen Freeman School in Didcot, as Headteacher from September 2023. Another example of changing the guard with the Beccy Harris, the current headteacher, taking over at St Barnabas School in the city.
